PUDUCHERRY: Cable TV operators of Puducherry today went on a one-day token fast at Orleanpet near here to protest against the launching of the Direct-To-Home service by the Sun TV group.
The agitators, under the banner of Association of Cable operators of Puducherry and Karaikal, said the Sun TV's decision would affect their livelihood and deal a crushing blow to them.
Delegates of various cable television units located in the two regions in their address criticised the Sun TV`s decision.
