Padmini Kolhapure makes TV debut with 'Ekk Nayi Pehchaan'

MUMBAI: Popular yesteryear actress Padmini Kolhapure is making her television debut with a daily soap ' Ekk Nayi Pehchaan'.

Padmini will be playing a central role in the popular show which has her contemporary actress Poonam Dhillon in the lead.

Both Padmini and Poonam grew up together in the industry and started their careers together 30 years back. They were last seen together in the 90's film 'Qurbani Rang Layegi'.

'Ekk Nayi Pehchaan' tells the story of women empowerment and education through relationships.

The show starring Poonam and Krystle D'Souza in lead is currently on air on Sony TV.
