Over 6 crore unique viewers tuned in for opening IPL match on JioCinema, says Viacom18

The company said that the JioCinema app registered over 2.5 crore downloads, a record for the most installed app in a single day.

Over 6 crore unique viewers tuned-in for the Gujarat Titans vs Chennai Super Kings fixture which achieved a peak concurrency of over 1.6 crore on JioCinema, Viacom18 said in a statement.

The total match views on Day 1 on JioCinema touched 50 crore, it added.

The company said that the JioCinema app registered over 2.5 crore downloads, a record for the most installed app in a single day.
