Nazara Technologies has appointed Rolocule Games' cofounder Anuj Tandon as the head of mobile publishing and corporate branding.

MUMBAI: Nazara Technologies has appointed Rolocule Games' cofounder Anuj Tandon as the head of mobile publishing and corporate branding.

Set up in 1999 in Mumbai, Nazara Technologies is a mobile entertainment company that recently signed a deal with Russian entertainment and gaming company ZeptoLab. Rolocule was founded in Pune six years ago.

“Joining Nazara enables me to focus on game publishing and developing. It has the potential to dominate the mobile gaming market in India,“ said Tandon.He added that following the deal with ZeptoLab, he plans to bring in more global games and localise content in India.



In the next two years Nazara plans to create mobile gaming content that caters to different demographics, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, as well as individuals in the 18-35 age group.

In localised content, Chhota Bheem is the company's top-ranking game. At Rolocule, Tandon played an integral part in launching `Rolomotion', a tech that tracks movements of smartphones and enables users to play games using gestures on TV.
