MuktaA2 Cinemas launches two single screens in South India

MUMBAI: Mukta A2 Cinemas, the film exhibition business of Mukta Arts, has launched two single-screen cinemas at Gangavathi and Tandur to take its tally to 52 screens, globally.

The two new properties are launched in association with the South India’s Asian Cinemas. The Gangavathi property has a seating capacity of 537, while Tandur has 626 seats, along with Dollby sound.

Mukta A2 Cinemas has also formed a separate JV company with Asian Cinemas, to make over 25 single screens across the southern circuit in 18 months.

Commenting on the occasion Rahul Puri, Managing Director, Mukta Arts, said, “It feels great that our endeavors to keep entertaining our audiences are seeing the light of success. Mukta A2 Cinemas is present in 16 cities in India and also operates a six-screen property in the Middle East at Juffair Mall, Bahrain.
