Streep, who is a big fan of Satyajit Ray's works, has agreed to be the convener of the Satyajit Ray Society for Hollywood.

Streep, who is a big fan of Satyajit Ray's works, has agreed to be the convener of the Satyajit Ray Society for Hollywood. "Ray was one of the best directors in the world. I want to exhibit his drawings, sketches, the photographs shot by him, and his scripts at a major exhibition in Hollywood next year," she said.
She will be visiting Kolkata as soon as she is free of all her commitments and is working on the possibility with Ray���s son Sandip. Sandip Ray said, "My father was admired in Hollywood and it would be a lifetime���s honour if his works are exhibited there."
