Red Chillies pay Kolkata Municipal Corporation Rs 10 lakh

Red Chillies Entertainment, owners of Kolkata Knight Riders team, on Saturday paid the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) Rs 10 lakh as amusement tax, KMC sources said.

KOLKATA: Red Chillies Entertainment, owners of Kolkata Knight Riders team, on Saturday paid the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) Rs 10 lakh as amusement tax, KMC sources said.

The KMC has demanded Rs 25 lakh from Red Chillies Entertainment as amusement tax for holding IPL matches at Eden Gardens.

The Red Chillies Entertainment has paid Rs 10 lakh and has assured to pay the rest Rs 15 lakh soon, sources added.
