The Australian Open and Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) have extended their long-standing broadcast agreement, ensuring continued live coverage of the Grand Slam across India and the wider Indian subcontinent.

Under the renewed deal, SPNI retains exclusive television and digital rights for the tournament across India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Coverage will be available across Sony Sports Network channels and Sony LIV, supported by multi-language feeds, expert analysis, live studio shows and extensive highlights.

SPNI has been broadcasting the Australian Open in India since 2015 and has played a key role in expanding the tournament’s reach in the region. The extension strengthens the Australian Open’s presence in one of its fastest-growing international markets and ensures comprehensive access for millions of tennis fans.
