JetSynthesys, Japan’s MIXI sign MOU to explore gaming collaboration in India

Indian digital entertainment and technology company JetSynthesys has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Japanese digital entertainment company MIXI Inc. to explore potential collaboration across gaming, esports, digital entertainment and marketing in India.

The MOU will see the companies explore opportunities in game development and publishing support, marketing and user acquisition, esports, market intelligence and business development, as well as potential strategic investments.

The companies will also explore other areas of collaboration that may be mutually agreed upon.


The partnership combines JetSynthesys’ understanding of India’s digital market with MIXI’s experience in gaming and entertainment, the companies said.

“This partnership brings together complementary strengths from India and Japan, opening new possibilities across video gaming and digital entertainment, with the potential to create experiences for audiences globally,” Rajan Navani, chairman, JetSynthesys, said.

Ryo Shima, CEO, JetSynthesys Japan, said the MOU reflects growing interest among global companies in India’s gaming and digital entertainment market.

“Together, we look forward to combining global expertise with local insight to strengthen India-Japan collaboration and explore products, partnerships and experiences that can resonate with audiences around the world,” Shima said.

Sadaaki Kaneyoshi, senior corporate officer at MIXI, said the company views India as an important growth market for the global gaming industry.

“Through this MOU with JetSynthesys, we look forward to deepening our understanding of the market and exploring potential opportunities across gaming and digital entertainment,” Kaneyoshi said.
