In Graphics: Ancient epic racks up wiki traffic amid movie buzz

Christopher Nolan’s much awaited film, The Odyssey, was released on Friday.

The film is based on ancient Greek poet Homer’s famous literary work of the same name, believed to be nearly 3,000 years old.

Movie buffs are turning to Wikipedia to do their homework before heading to theatres: traffic on the page with the entry on Odyssey the epic crossed 300,000 a day over the weekend, making it the second-most read page after the one about the film itself.
