Galleri5 launches AI filmmaking platform, targets global VFX and animation market
Galleri5 has rolled out enhanced functionalities for its AI Studio platform, tailored to streamline film production workflows. The company's vision includes integrating sophisticated technologies into traditional VFX and animation methods.
The company showcased its latest technology at NXT in AI, its inaugural technology event in Hyderabad, attended by over 150 filmmakers, technology leaders, VFX professionals, entrepreneurs and investors.
“The next big opportunity in AI video isn’t another model that generates a better five-second clip. It’s the technology that makes it possible to produce an entire film,” said Rahul Regulapati, Founder and CEO, Galleri5.
“Models are becoming available to everyone. The real differentiation is in the workflows, tools and production systems built around them. We’re building the technology to make AI filmmaking controllable, consistent and scalable, and ultimately take on some of the largest opportunities in VFX and animation,” added Regulapati.

While generative AI models have made it increasingly easy to create individual video clips, producing consistent, high-quality content across hundreds or thousands of shots remains a significant technical challenge.
Galleri5 is addressing this through an integrated production platform that combines over 200 AI models with proprietary agentic workflows, character consistency systems, AI-powered VFX and cinematic video generation tools. Among the new capabilities demonstrated were: Movie Agent (Agentic workflows designed to take filmmakers from story and visual development through storyboarding and shot generation), AI VFX (Technology to transform live-action footage, create environments and integrate AI-generated elements into existing production pipelines), AI Avatars (Digital human and avatar creation capabilities for content production), Cinematic production pipelines (Integrated workflows combining generative AI, 3D, animation and compositing, with high-resolution video output.
‘We’re seeing AI move from experimentation into mainstream film and television production. Galleri5 is building the technology infrastructure to make this transition possible, bringing together advanced AI capabilities and real filmmaking expertise,’ said Vijay Subramaniam, Founder and Group CEO, Collective Artists Network.
Unlike standalone AI video generation tools, Galleri5 AI Studio is being developed around the requirements of professional film and television production, where character continuity, camera control, visual consistency and repeatability across shots are critical.
The company has been building and testing these technologies through its own large-scale productions, including Mahabharat: Ek Dharmayudh, an AI-generated television series for Star Plus and JioHotstar, and Chiranjeevi Hanuman, an upcoming full-length AI theatrical feature.
Galleri5 has also produced over 10,000 commercial AI videos, giving the company production experience across advertising, television and cinema. The company is also working with global AI technology partners, including BytePlus, to integrate advanced generative models into its production workflows and expand the platform’s capabilities.
Galleri5 AI Studio is available to creators, filmmakers and production companies through its self-serve platform at g5.video.
