Freida Pinto denies being the next Bond girl

Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto, who had apparently signed a multi-million pound deal to play James Bond’s love interest, has denied being the next Bond girl.

KOLKATA: Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto, who was said to have signed a multi-million pound deal to play James Bond’s love interest, on Monday denied being the next Bond girl.

Her official spokesperson said the Slumdog Millionaire actor hasn’t even been approached for the role. “I’d like to confirm that as of today, Freida Pinto has not been approached to be part of the next Bond film.

It is, of course, very flattering to even be rumoured to be part of a Bond film but she has certainly not been approached for the role of the next Bond girl opposite Daniel Craig as yet. She is currently out of the country working on her next project. Freida’s projects to look forward to in 2010-2011 are Julian Schnabel’s Miral, Woody Allen’s You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger and Tarsem Singh’s Dawn of War."
