'Film Bazaar' to be held in Goa on sidelines of IFFI
National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) initiative 'Film Bazaar', which provides a platform to film makers to market their films in domestic as well as the international market, would be held in Goa.
In fact as part of its unique initiative, National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) this year has sought unfinished films from any part of the country from film makers by October 15, to be showcased in Film Bazaar.
The films would be shown to a panel of film experts under the 'Work-in-progress Lab' category where the film makers would be asked to edit or rough cut their films on the spot and the panel would give its feedback to them.
The Work-in-progress-Lab would be a new addition to this year's Film Bazaar and panelists for this programme would be film critic Derek Malcolm, Danish film editor Molly Stensgard and film maker Lars Von Trier.
Information and Broadcasting ministry officials told PTI that this year's edition of Film Bazaar would be bigger and better than previous years, which will have interactive platforms to promote co-production market by facilitating
collaboration among potential domestic and international partners.
