Divij Sharma has taken on a new role at Amazon Prime Video as Head of Engagement, after spending six years as Head of Marketing and Insights for Amazon Alexa in India.

In his new role, Sharma will lead efforts to grow membership and keep users engaged across Prime Video’s wide range of content.

Over the last 10 years, Sharma has helped build key digital products and services for Amazon in India. At Alexa, he led marketing campaigns that helped more people start using voice technology.


He also worked on features like voice shopping, digital payments, and partnerships with celebrities.

He has an MBA from the Vinod Gupta School of Management at IIT Kharagpur and a Bachelor's degree in engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology.
