Disney releasing three Indian films via multiple media

Walt Disney Studios is releasing three Indian films - 'Do Dooni Chaar', 'Once Upon A Warrior' and 'Zokkomon' on multipme media platforms.

HOUSTON: Walt Disney Studios is releasing three Indian films - 'Do Dooni Chaar', 'Once Upon A Warrior' and 'Zokkomon' simultaneously on DVD, video-on-demand, and digital download on July 26.

The movies will also feature on iTunes and Indian cinema lovers living in the US and Canada can now choose to watch these films in the format they enjoy best.

The three films will be the first Indian movies ever to be released in North America on DVD, video-on-demand, and on digital download platforms all on the same day (July 26).

They will also be available online on Amazon.com, Disney and other sites for order. A number of providers are offering the films on VOD (video on demand) including Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox, Verizon, AT&T, DirecTV, InDemand, TVN, Charter, Playstation, and Xbox.

For those who use Apple TV and iTunes, Netflix and other digital downloads, the movies will be available there too on the same day.

Disney was involved in production of each film, which will be released in its local language and subtitled in English, introducing it to a much wider audience.

While 'Do Dooni Char' stars Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, child actor Darsheel Safary and veteran Anupam Kher feature in 'Zokkomon'.

Also being released is Disney's first Telugu film starring Siddharth and Shruti Haasan.
