Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh opened his RuPay AURA India Tour 2026 with a sold-out concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on Friday, bringing his internationally acclaimed live show to Indian audiences. The six-week tour, promoted by BookMyShow Live, will travel to Indore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Chandigarh and Kolkata.

The Delhi concert followed Dosanjh's international run, which included sold-out stadium shows in Australia and performances at Madison Square Garden in New York and Wembley Stadium in London, where he became the first Punjabi artist to headline and sell out the iconic venue.

Dosanjh opened the show with 'Morni', before performing a string of popular tracks, including 'G.O.A.T.', 'Ikk Kudi', 'Lalkara', 'Lover', 'Case', 'Panjtaara', 'Hass Hass', 'Saanso Ki Mala' and 'Water'. The production brought the sound, visuals and immersive concert experience associated with the tour's international shows to Delhi.

The singer also invited fans on stage to dance and sing alongside him, and paused during the performance to thank the Delhi Police for ensuring the event ran smoothly and safely. A drone show brought the concert to a close, lighting up the sky with the message ‘Panjabi Aa Gaye Oye!’

Speaking about the opening show of the RuPay AURA India Tour 2026, Naman Pugalia, Chief Business Officer – Live Events, BookMyShow, said, "Delhi didn't just open the RuPay AURA India Tour; it set the bar for every city that will follow. Diljit has spent a decade earning the applause and emotions of a crowd that sings his songs back to him, city by city, country by country, and a fully sold-out Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium tonight gave him exactly that. This is the grand scale he commands around the world, and his fans back home made sure they answered his call. We believe the magic of live entertainment lies in shared moments like these, where tens of thousands of fans become one chorus and go back home with a memory of a lifetime. This is only the first night of a six-week journey, and we can't wait to take Aura to fans across the country."

The concert also featured fan experiences, including a complimentary turban-tying camp and curated food and beverage offerings across the venue.
