Jio Studios has recorded a rare run at the box office, delivering three consecutive films that have each crossed the Rs 500 crore net mark in India over the past three years.

Stree 2, Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge have all entered the Rs 500 crore club, reflecting a sustained streak of high-performing releases under the studio’s banner.

In 2024, Stree 2 set a new benchmark for Hindi cinema. The film crossed Rs 500 crore in India within 18 days, backed by strong word-of-mouth and repeat viewership. It went on to surpass Rs 600 crore within a little over a month, becoming the first Hindi film to reach that milestone in a single language.

The momentum continued in 2025 with Dhurandhar, which crossed Rs 500 crore in just 15 days, making it the fastest film to reach the mark at the time. The film maintained steady occupancy levels and went on to complete a 100-day theatrical run.

In 2026, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has followed a similar trajectory, crossing Rs 500 crore within its first week. The film has seen strong footfalls across markets and continues to hold steady at the box office. The box office run of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge continues to hold steady as it completes its first week in theatres. Despite a lengthy runtime of 3 hours and 49 minutes, the Aditya Dhar directorial has shown strong weekday stability, indicating that the momentum from its opening weekend has sustained. After crossing Rs. 240 crore net within its first 60 hours, the Ranveer Singh starrer is now moving toward the Rs. 600 crore net milestone by Day 7. The festive period of Ugadi and Gudi Padwa has supported collections, with high occupancy levels continuing across screens, reported ETimes.

The spy thriller is the seventh longest Indian film and became the fastest Indian film to gross Rs. 500 crore worldwide. Both parts were shot together over 15 months across Thailand, Ladakh, and Punjab. It has also recorded strong performance in international markets, including the US box office.
