Dhurandhar 2 rewrites the overseas rulebook for Bollywood with a $25 million milestone

Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has set new overseas records, becoming the first Indian film to cross $25 million in North America and €1 million in Germany, where it is now the highest-grossing Indian release.

Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has set new benchmarks in overseas markets, becoming the first Indian film to cross $25 million in North America and €1 million in Germany, according to the film’s makers.

The film has emerged as the highest-grossing Indian release in Germany, marking a first for Indian cinema in the European market. It has also delivered a record performance in North America, underlining its strong global reach.

Backed by Jio Studios, the film’s performance has been driven by a wide international release strategy, including expanded screen presence and entry into newer markets.

Now in its third weekend, the film continues to sustain collections, indicating steady audience demand.

The movie has already scripted history by becoming the first Hindi film to cross Rs 1,000 crore in net domestic collections across all versions. With this milestone, it has joined an elite league alongside Pushpa 2 and Baahubali 2, emerging as only the third Indian film—and the first from Bollywood—to achieve the feat.

Alongside Ranveer Singh, the film features a strong ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun.
