Dhurandhar 2 box office collection: Aditya Dhar's blockbuster grosses Rs 1,365 cr, breaking lifetime record of Part 1

Dhurandhar: The Revenge has grossed Rs 1.365 crore globally and Rs 867 crore in India, surpassing the lifetime collections of Dhurandhar (Part 1) in just 11 days.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the blockbuster sequel had the highest paid previews ever and the biggest opening weekend, becoming the fastest movie to cross the Rs 1,000 crore mark globally. The spy-action entertainer had a record-breaking opening week and further continued the momentum into the second weekend.

In the first week of its release, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, produced by Reliance's Jio Studios & B62 Studios, grossed Rs 690 crore in India and Rs 177 crore in the second weekend. Gross Box Office Collection of Dhurandhar 2 stood at Rs 1,023 crore by the second weekend.

As per official data, the movie's Gross Box Office Collection has crossed Rs 1,365 crore, and is all set for another historic long run at the Indian cinema.

Among its vast list of records, Dhurandhar 2 has become the biggest Hindi opener of all time and the fastest film to cross Rs 1,000 crore globally. The movie, starring Ranveer Singh, is also the 'Highest Grossing Indian film in North America'.

Despite a lengthy runtime of 3 hours and 49 minutes, the Aditya Dhar directorial showed a strong weekday stability, indicating that the momentum from its opening weekend has sustained. The spy thriller is the sevent-longest Indian movie and became the fastest Indian film to gross Rs. 500 crore worldwide.
