Cyrus Oshidar quits MTV India for Contest2Win

MUMBAI: Cyrus Oshidar is the latest highly placed executive to leave MTV India. The music channel has seen something of an exodus over the past seven months. He is know to have been instrumental in developing a uniquely Indian identity for the channel. At the time of his departure, Oshidar was senior VP - creative and content.

He will join Contest2Win, the online contest and entertainment portal, as consultant and will be on the board as well. "I have been with MTV for ten years now. I am moving into the internet as it is set to be the next boom," he said.

For three days a week, Oshidar will be with Contest2Win and will also be working on projects with animation companies, such as US-based Future Thought. He will also be as a consultant to Viacom Brand Solutions (VBS).
