Comedy show Oggy and the Cockroaches to premiere on Cartoon Network on July 16

KOLKATA: In an Asia Pacific deal announced earlier this year, Cartoon Network had acquired the mega-hit, animated comedy series – ‘ Oggy and the Cockroaches’. The show, slated to premiere on July 16, 2012, will air every Monday-Friday at 3pm only on Cartoon Network India.

The series revolves around Oggy, a big, sleek cat who likes watching TV, listening to music and munching on fries in the bath. In short: A cat whose ambitions don’t go beyond living an easy life, in an easy house. However, his smooth existence is made disdainful by three cockroaches that never stop troubling Oggy now and then. They do their utmost to make Oggy's life a mess. But true to cartoon tradition, there's always a happy end at the horizon. Despite his agonies, Oggy always comes out victorious… well, nearly always!
