Color Chips to raise Rs 46 cr via FCCBs

MUMBAI: Hyderabad-based animation company Color Chips India Ltd has said it will raise over Rs 46 crore ($10 million) through the issue of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs) or other securities.
The EGM held on Monday accorded authority to the board to raise the funds through the issue of FCCBs, GDRs, ADRs, shares or other securities, subject to necessary approvals, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The shareholders also approved a proposal for allotting 37 lakh equity shares on a preferential basis to Color Chips Animation Park Ltd and Cyber Toons Pvt Ltd.
Cyber Toons would be allotted 30 lakh shares of Rs 10 at a price of not less than Rs 10 each as per SEBI guidelines and 7 lakh shares would be allotted to Color Chips Animation, the company said.
