R R Gill, who along with members of Schedule Caste, film artists and social activists, watched the film, said, "The first half of the film is about reservation while the second half deals with the commercialisation of education."

"The film should be shown to all as it has nothing wrong against the SC/OBC/ST," he said in a statement here.

The film has been banned in UP, Andhra Pardesh. Punjab, however, has agreed to lift the ban on the movie on condition that producers delete certain dialogues and scenes from the movie.
