Case filed in HC to stay Ghajini release

A suit was filed in the Bombay High Court seeking a stay on release of Ghajini.

MUMBAI: Two days before Aamir Khan-starrer ���Ghajini' is supposed to hit the screens, a suit was filed in the Bombay High Court on Monday, seeking a stay on its release.

The suit has been filed by KBC Pictures on the issue of copyright and remake rights.

Ghajini is the Hindi remake of the Tamil film of the same name that was also made in Telugu. A R Murgadoss, the writer and director of the Hindi film has been named as the main party in the suit, along with the producers.

A spokesperson for the filmmakers, however, told TOI that they had no information of the case.
