Bigg Boss Bangla returns with Sourav Ganguly as host
The Bigg Boss Bangla premiere saw the contestants enter the Bigg Boss Bangla house one by one. Actor Monami Ghosh was first through the door. Actor Bharat Kaul was the second entrant. He is known for portraying negative characters across films and television. Singer Durnibar Saha followed him. Durnibar has won singing reality programmes and subsequently worked as a playback singer.
Sohini Pal, daughter of late Bengali actor Tapas Pal, was the fourth contestant. YouTuber Niranjan Mondal, better known as Laughtersane, followed as the fifth. Wearing a dhoti-panjabi, he called himself childlike and said household chores are not something he does.
Bigg Boss Bangla contestants enter Bigg Boss Bangla house
Nandini Roy entered sixth after recently leaving the television serial Kone Dekha Alo. Her introduction made her ambition clear: she is in Bigg Boss Bangla to win.Former footballer Dipendu Biswas was seventh. His career included East Bengal, Mohun Bagan, Mohammedan Sporting and the Indian national team. He said his daughter was particularly excited about seeing him join Bigg Boss Bangla.

Entrepreneur Tanushree Roy Das, known for her sari business, was the eighth entrant. Actor Anindya Sengupta followed in ninth place. His credits span films, television and OTT, and he told Ganguly that he does not have a strong sense of humour.
Social media influencer Sayak became contestant number 10. He described himself as a person who frequently gets caught up in trouble and controversy. Ganguly referred to Sayak's earlier beef-eating controversy and joked that avoiding social media controversies might mean switching off his comment section.
Bigg Boss Bangla adds influencers and actors
Instagram influencer Jayita was the 11th entrant. She comes from a Bengali family but now lives in Mumbai.British actor Alexandra Taylor, who has worked in Bengali films, entered at number 12. Speaking in Bengali, she said, "My Bengali is very bad. I don't know what I will do after entering the Bigg Boss house". Taylor also said she has a home in Kolkata and wants to live there with her mother.
Actor Srijla Guha was the 13th contestant. She gained popularity through Mon Phagun and was recently seen in Jeet's Keu Bole Biplabi Keu Bole Dakat, her first major big-screen appearance.
Social media personality Jhilam Gupta entered as contestant number 14.
Television actor Sonamoni Saha completed the Bigg Boss Bangla line-up as the 15th and final contestant. She said she intends to remain in Bigg Boss Bangla house until the finale and leave with the trophy.
Bigg Boss Bangla history dates back to 2013
The return marks the latest Bigg Boss Bangla chapter in Bigg Boss Bangla's television history. Bigg Boss Bangla originally launched on ETV Bangla in 2013, with actor Mithun Chakraborty hosting the first season. Anik Dhar won that edition.The second season arrived in 2016 on Colors Bangla, with actor Jeet as host. Joyjit Banerjee won that season.
