AXN targets mobile users
Adventure and action channel AXN is gearing up to tap the mobile users with its content.
“AXN mobile is targetted at viewers who are out of home and rely on their mobile phones for entertainment consumption. The number of people who own cellphones is growing in India and hence we are looking at getting it here,” said Gregory Ho, vice-president, advertising sales, SPE Networks -Asia, the parent company of AXN channel.
The channel is also gearing up to make its content suit the local flavour. “We hope to have Indian participants for AXN Extreme,” he said. “Besides having commercials we are also working towards branded entertainment to garner additional sales revenues and provide innovative programming,” added Mr Ho.
