Noted playback singer Asha Bhosale will lend her voice for a Dev Anand film after 28 years.

MUMBAI: Noted playback singer Asha Bhosale will lend her voice for a Dev Anand film after 28 years. She will sing for his under-production film 'Chargesheet'.

"The recording for the same would be held later this week," Dev Anand said.

"She last sang for my film 'Lootmaar' which was released in 1980," he said.

Her scintillating number "Jab Chahe Mera Jadooo..." is still popular among music buffs.

When asked how many songs Asha will sing, he said, "there will be a couple of songs."

The legendary actor-filmmaker who is in the midst of shooting for the film in Mumbai declined to give further details.

Asha, who celebrated her 75th birthday early this month, had released her latest non-film album 'Precious Platinum' on the occasion.
