Airtel makes internal management rejig

Bharti Airtel will decouple its Direct-to-home (DTH) business from the converged entertainment category, creating two new verticals - Connected Homes (which includes Broadband and Converged Entertainment) and DTH.

Siddharth Sharma, currently CEO of DTH, will be appointed Director Marketing and CEO of Connected Homes.



Gujral, currently CEO of Upper North, will be appointed CEO and Director for DTH.

Airtel's Customer Experience business is also being hived off into a standalone function with Shivan Bhargava as the director.


Amit Tripathi, currently Director Marketing and Customer Experience, is appointed Director Market Operations, leading all circles and distribution strategy.

These executives will report to newly appointed MD and CEO Shashwat Sharma. All the new personnel will assume their positions by April 1, 2025.
