A R Rahman wins Best Music Score at BAFTAs
A R Rahman bagged the BAFTA award in the best music score category for Slumdog Millionaire in London.
Rahman, 43, wrote the music for the rags-to-riches romance of a Mumbai slum boy. Rahman had earlier bagged the Golden Globe award for the same movie.
Director Danny Boyle bagged the best director award. 'Slumdog Millionaire' also bagged the best picture award.
"Slumdog Millionaire," the British-written and directed drama was nominated in the best picture, best actor and best director categories at the British Academy Film Awards - the UK version of the Oscars.
