Visual Effects artist Max Gabl used a professional 3D modelling and animating software called CINEMA 4D to recreate the Star Trek backgrounds (originally created in the 1960s), transforming them into stunning visuals fit for HD quality.
Star Trek: The Original Series Re-mastered Season 3 was released on December 15. Seasons 1 and 2 went on sale earlier in 2009.
