Vinaya Varma takes charge as MD of Mjunction services Limited

KOLKATA: Vinaya Varma has taken over as Managing Director & CEO of mjunction services limited, an equal joint venture of Tata Steel and SAIL. Varma, 50, has served the company which is India’s largest B2B e-commerce player for the last 18 years since its inception in 2001.

His last held position in the company was that of its CEO. An alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIM Calcutta, Varma has been elected co-chairman of the CII Eastern Region ICTE Sub-Committee for 2018-19.

He is also an elected member of CII Eastern Regional Council and CII West Bengal State Council for 2018-19 and an elected Member of NASSCOM's Internet, Mobile & e-Commerce Council for 2017-19.
