Usha Martin commissions pellet plant in Jamshedpur

The stock hit a high of Rs 35.20 and a low of Rs 33.20 during the day before closing at Rs 34.20 up 0.29% over previous close of Rs 34.10.

KOLKATA: Usha Martin Ltd, one of the leading wire rope manufacturing companies globally, has informed the BSE that the iron ore benefication and pellet plant at Jamshedpur has been commissioned and the same is under trial run.

The unit will have a rated capacity of 1.2 million tonne per annum. The company’s shares gained on the news of the commissioning of the pellet plant.

The stock hit a high of Rs 35.20 and a low of Rs 33.20 during the day before closing at Rs 34.20 up 0.29% over previous close of Rs 34.10.

The Usha Martin stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 37.40 on January 9, 2014 while it has hit a 52-week low of Rs 20.30 on March 26, 2013.
