Tata Steel MD emphasises on quality

JAMSHEDPUR: Tata Steel Managing Director H M Nerurkar today said quality of vehicles was important to get recognition in the world market.


"We must ensure that our trucks and cars are world-class to survive in the competitive market," Nerurkar said after inaugurating a Heat Treatment Plant of an ancilliary unit 'Rajeev Associates' in Adityapur Industrial Estate.

The new Heat Treatment Plant would help Tata Motors to go from strength to strength he said, while appreciating the efforts of proprietor of the plant Rajiv Ranjan.,

Talking to newsmen, Ranjan said the new plant was set up at a cost of Rs two crore with the capacity of 1.2 tonne a day.
