Tata Steel Jamshedpur Works get award

JAMSHEDPUR: Private steel major Tata Steel, Jamshedpur Works has been conferred the 15th Annual Greentech Environment Award 2015 in Gold category of Metal and Mining sector.

The Award was given by M Narendra, Former Chairman & Managing Director, Indian Overseas Bank and received by Suresh Kumar, Vice President, Shared Services, Tata Steel and Shubhanand Mukesh, Head, Environment, Tata Steel, at function held on January 28 in Kolkata, according to a Tata Steel press release here today.

Greentech Foundation, established in the year 2000 and based at New Delhi, is a non-profit organisation committed to recognise and celebrate ethos of outstanding performance in Environment Protection, Fire and Safety, HR and CSR issues.
