Tata Bluescope eyes Rs 1,500 cr revenue by 2009-10

Tata Bluescope Steel said it anticipates revenues to the tune of Rs 1,500 crore by fiscal 2009-10.

BHIWADI: Tata Bluescope Steel said it anticipates revenues to the tune of Rs 1,500 crore by fiscal 2009-10.
The company on Monday commissioned its second facility here. It anticipates revenues of Rs 150 crore in the current fiscal with three facilities operational in Chennai, Pune and Bhiwadi.
"We anticipate our revenues to cross Rs 1,500 crore by 2010 and Rs 2,200 crore by 2012-13," Tata Bluescope Managing Director Chetan Tolia told reporters here.
Tata Bluescope will set up a colour coding facility in Jamshedpur with an investment of Rs 900 crore. The facility would be operational by late 2008 or early 2009, he said.
The company is 50:50 JV between Tata Steel and Australia's Blue Scope.
