Surana Industries finalises Rs 58 crore contract

Steel manufacturer, Surana Industries Ltd on Friday said it has finalised contract for supply of equipment worth Rs 58 crore for its new integrated steel plant in Karnataka.

CHENNAI: Steel manufacturer, Surana Industries Ltd on Friday said it has finalised contract for supply of equipment worth Rs 58 crore for its new integrated steel plant in Karnataka.
The contract entails supply of boilers, ESP and turbine for the 35 MW captive power plant at its new plant at Raichur, a company release said.
The company has placed an order of Rs 36 crore with Cethar Vessels Pvt Ltd Trichy for boilers, Rs 14 crore to Qingdao Jieneng Power Station Engineering Co Ltd, China, and Associated Power Team Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad, for Turbine and Rs eight crore to Thermax Ltd (Pune) for ESP.
