Sterlite Grid says commissioned Rajasthan transmission project ahead of schedule

MUMBAI: Sterlite Grid has commissioned transmission project linked to the Rajasthan Atomic Power Project ( RAPP) ahead of its schedule, the company said in a statement on Saturday.

The RAPP Transmission Project involved laying of a 200 km line of 400 KV double circuit transmission line passing through Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The project was completed in 12 months.

The company said that it will benefit from the government’s policy of allowing developers to earn tariff from the date of actual commissioning in case the project is completed ahead of schedule.
