Sesa Sterlite Board to meet on September 5

NEW DELHI: Sesa Sterlite today said its Board will meet later this week to consider enabling approval for raising funds through issue of securities.

"... a meeting of the Board of Directors of the company will be held on September 05, 2014, inter alia, to consider enabling approval for - Raising of funds through issue of securities including convertible debentures, bonds, warrants, NCDs, etc," the company said in an exchange filing.

Sesa Sterlite will be needing funds for various corporate purposes, including expansions at its different operations, a source said.
