SAIL panel to probe Bokaro plant fire
Public sector behemoth Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) today constituted a committee to probe into the fire incident in a mill in its Bokaro plant last afternoon.

NEW DELHI: Public sector behemoth Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) today constituted a committee to probe into the fire incident in a mill in its Bokaro plant last afternoon.
"SAIL has set up a high-powered committee to conduct an inquiry into the incident to recommend measures to avoid recurrence of similar nature at any of its plants," according to a company release here.
The fire-fighting teams aided by 11 fire-tenders were able to extinguish fire, it said, adding that the Cold Rolled Mill will be made operational by tomorrow evening.
