RSP receives ISO 2000 certification
A milestone was crossed with three units of the Rourkela Steel Plant receiving the prestigious ISO 2000 certification.

ROURKELA: A milestone was crossed with three units of the Rourkela Steel Plant receiving the prestigious ISO 2000 certification.
The ISO certification for traffic and raw materials and entire cold rolling mill and special plate plant was today received by B N Singh, managing director of the RSP from S. Talukdar, lead auditor, Ms Tuv India Private Limited here.
Singh said the ISO certifications stressed on the importance of systems rather than the individual.
The ISO system which ensures ideal documentation also goes a long way in reducing cost and reaffirming self confidence in employees.
Talukdar congratulated the RSP for achieving the ISO certification and said the challenge ahead was to match the professionalism of competitors.
