Readymade Steel gets Rs 149 crore order from Singapore govt

Readymade Steel India said its Singapore subsidiary has received an $22 million order from the local Health Ministry.

NEW DELHI: Readymade Steel India on Thursday said its Singapore subsidiary has received an $22 million (Rs 149 crore) order from the local Health Ministry.

The subsidiary, KH Foges Pte, got the order for undertaking the bored piling works for construction of a hospital to be set up at Yishun in Singapore, it said in a BSE filing.

"The order highlights the continuing momentum in the foundation engineering sector in Singapore and South East Asia and also reaffirms our conviction which enabled us for the successful acquisition of KH Foges Pte last year," said Anil Agrawal, Managing Director, Readymade Steel India.

Readymade Steel India sells re-bars, used in construction segment.

KH Foges Pte is the second largest specialist contractor in foundation engineering works in Singapore. Its primary bsuiness activity includes piling, foundation and geotechnical works.
