Ramsarup Industries bags orders worth Rs 164 crores

Ramsarup Industries, India’s second largest producer of steel wires in India, bagged orders worth Rs 164 crore for Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana electrification work from the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Co.

MUMBAI: Ramsarup Industries, India���s second largest producer of steel wires in India, bagged orders worth Rs 164 crore for Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) electrification work from the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Co.

The company will facilitate electrification of 2,527 villages in the districts of 24 Paraganas, Howrah and Birbhum in the state, and will be putting up 2.25 lakh household electricity connections. The company successfully carried out similar orders in Rajasthan earlier.

Ramsarup is currently executing nine orders from Rajasthan and two in West Bengal in the power and transmission sector. The company had undertaken the feeder renovation works including design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning in different sites in Rajasthan on a turnkey basis.
