MUMBAI: Ramsarup Industries Ltd expects production of low relation precast wires at its Greenfield project at Durgapur to commence soon.
The company is eyeing production of 6 lakh MT of steel wires by 2010 from the current 2.25 lakh MT.
The company’s export increased 183 per cent of Rs 29.70 crore during the April-June quarter from Rs. 10.51 crore in the same period previous year. Income for the quarter was Rs 354.73 crore, up 14 per cent from Rs 312.21 crore.
Operating profit increased 52.2 per cent to Rs 30.95 crore compared with Rs 20.29 crore in the year-ago quarter. Profit after tax was up 22.7 per cent at Rs 12.53 crore against Rs 10.21 crore.
Ramsarup Industries declared an annual dividend of 5 per cent and interim dividend of 15 per cent in 2006-07 (Apr-Mar).
