Quality Circles of RSP excel in National Convention

ROURKELA: Quality Circles (QC) of Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) have excelled in the 28th National Convention on Quality Concepts (NCQC - 2014).

In all, 1314 Quality Circles consisting of 7245 members and delegates from 383 organisations had participated in the convention held recently in Pune, RSP said in a release today.

Out of the 12 QCs from RSP that had taken part in the convention, 9 have bagged the highest award that is the Par Excellence Award, while 3 QCs have got the Excellence Award.

Apart from the above awards that were won for presentation of their innovative projects, the enterprising employees of RSP have also bagged many other awards in various other competitions.

The Think Square Quality Circle of OBBP won a prize in the Skit Competition, while 3 teams excelled in quiz competitions, the release added.
