PSL bags Rs 1,928 cr order from Gail India

Steel pipe maker PSL Ltd today said it has bagged Rs 1,928 crore contract from Gail (India) Ltd for its Vijaipur-Dadri-Bawanab Pipe Line project for supply of carbon steel pipes.

MUMBAI: Steel pipe maker PSL Ltd today said it has bagged Rs 1,928 crore contract from Gail (India) Ltd for its Vijaipur-Dadri-Bawanab Pipe Line project for supply of carbon steel pipes.

The aggregate value of the contract which is likely to be executed by the end of the current financial year would be around 1,928 crore, PSL said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

PSL would supply carbon steel pipes of varying diameters ranging from 20 to 48 inches for a total length of about 470 kms, the company added.

With this order PSL's consolidated unexecuted order book stood at about Rs 6,000 crore.

Shares of PSL closed at Rs 381, up 12.72 per cent on BSE.
