Kamdhenu targets Rs 3000 cr revenues by 2010
TMT bars manufacturer Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd said on Tuesday that it will expand its product portfolio in line with its objectives of doubling top-line to Rs 3,000 crore by 2010.
NEW DELHI: TMT bars manufacturer Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd said on Tuesday that it will expand its product portfolio by adding structural steel products including angles, beams, channels and flats, in line with its objectives of doubling top-line to Rs 3,000 crore by 2010.
"We would foray into structural steel manufacturing to expand our portfolio. With further expansions lined up, we expect to more than double our revenues in the next two-three years from the present Rs 1,500 crore mark," Kamdhenu Ispat Chairman and Managing Director Satish Agarwal told reporters.
He said the company has tied-up with three rolling mills in Maharashtra, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh to manufacture the new range of structural products.
"Kamdhenu expects the production capacity to touch the three lakh metric tonnes per annum mark in the current fiscal and would further increase this capacity to 10 lakh metric tonnes in the next two-three years," Agarwal said.
The company has manufacturing tie-ups with 27 rolling mills across India while it operates a wholly-owned facility in Rajasthan. It also has a network of 2,500 dealers and distributors to market the finished products in various parts of the country.
