JSW Steel to consider two acquisition deals tomorrow

The Board of Sajjan Jindal-run JSW Steel will tomorrow consider acquisition of a plate mill unit in the US for $1.2 billion, besides a plot of land near here and is likely to take a decision on these deals.

MUMBAI: The Board of Sajjan Jindal-run JSW Steel will tomorrow consider acquisition of a plate mill unit in the US for $1.2 billion, besides a plot of land near here and is likely to take a decision on these deals.

The Board will take into account due diligence reports submitted by various international agencies before deciding to acquire the plate mill facility from Jindal SAW, owned by Sajjan's eldest brother Prithviraj.

The company is also keen on acquiring real estate major Orbit's 2.5 acre land in suburban Kalina for an estimated Rs 750 crore.
