JSW Infrastructure (JSWIL), has allocated Rs 30,000 crore in capital expenditure (capex) for FY25-30. The company, aims to expand its cargo-handling capacity to 400 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) by FY30

The expansion will involve capacity upgrades at its existing ports in Jaigarh, Dharamtar, and Goa, as well as new ports in Jatadhar, Keni, and Murbe. JSWIL is also enhancing its logistics capabilities through acquisitions like Navkar Corporation and a slurry pipeline project.

"JSW Infrastructure’s financial position is solid, with zero net debt as of September 30, 2024, supporting its expansion plans," the company said in a statement.


Rinkesh Roy, Joint MD & CEO, stated that JSWIL is working to create an integrated logistics ecosystem that aligns with India’s infrastructure goals. The company’s expansion strategy is designed to strengthen its position in the country’s ports and logistics sector.

The company has increased its share of third-party cargo from 5% in FY19 to 48% in 1HFY25. It aims to achieve a balanced mix of JSW Group and third-party customers for greater stability and profitability.

JSW Group is India’s "second-largest private commercial port operator". The company operates ten located port concessions along India’s west and east coasts, complemented by an international presence with a 465,000-cubic-meter liquid tank storage terminal in Fujairah, UAE.
