JSPL reports a 20% rise in annual sales for FY 21, production up by 19% year-on-year
During Q4 of FY 21, the company’s production was up by 34% to 2.07 million tonnes and sales were up by 37% to 1.91 million tonnes.
The company’s March sales jumped 61% year-on-year to 786,000 tonnes and production rose by 21% yoy to 730,000 tonnes.
“A combination of robust domestic demand, attractive export markets and a wide range of products have all contributed to JSPL reporting the steepest rise in monthly sales in FY21,” the company said in a statement on Monday.
Exports have accounted for 35% of sales in FY21 compared to 13% in the prior year.
“We firmly remain committed to contributing to an Atmanirbhar Bharat. We will continue to work towards our target of 15:15:50, i.e., 15,000 Cr EBITDA: 15,000 Cr Net Debt: 50,000 Cr Gross Turnover," said V R Sharma, Managing Director, JSPL.
