KOLKATA: A high profile steel conference would be held from November 22 which would be attended by a large Australian mining and coal delegation.
Arun Jagatramka vice-chairman & managing director said today that the three-day steel conference, "Global Steel 2007' would be represented by leading steel and mining companies from India and aboard.
The mineral minister of New South Wales, Australia had committed to attend the conference along with a Australian delegation, he added.
The organisers said they were hopeful to get L N Mittal as a speaker.
Some 250 delegates were expected at the conference which would cover a wide range of issues related to steel and its inputs.
